It’s inauguration day!
We are celebrating this history- making event today by watching the live inauguration and doing activities related. Please discuss this celebration with your child.

Academic update
Math workshop will include telling time. Please use all opportunities to discuss when events take place during the day, as well as looking at the clock with your child. This is a skill that they must know for the rest of their lives!

Welcome back to our last half of first grade! I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable Christmas break.
I think we ended the year on a great note with some good gifts to open and a week of Christmas festivities such as an ornament rotation, Polar Express Day, and so much more. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, effort, and supplies.

With half the school year already behind us, we will be jumping right in to our workshops so that we can be prepared and ready for the annual TEST (CRCT), which will take place in April. Please be sure to check your child’s folder as more information will be coming on that.
